I found the reception /concierge responsive right away with my inquires . Gunnard was especially helpful with many questions : looking for a specific store for my daughters souvenir , calling a cab for pick up, help with my luggage etc . Yes it is an older hotel , the carpet is wearing , but my room was spotless. There was lots of hot water for showers , lots of fresh towels and linens. Windows opened wide to let in fresh air . It was only 10 minute walk to the cathedral and train station. Very central . Excellent breakfast : sausages , scrambled eggs, bacon , toast , croissants , fruit and yogurt ! I would stay here again in a heartbeat . It’s great value.

The proximity to all the touristic attractions of Cologne. The cleanliness of the room and the comfort that I felt there.

Lovely little hotel close to train station and centre . Bozena at reception was so friendly and helpful . Always greeted me with a smile which means alot . I have always stayed in this hotel when I visit Cologne . Thanks again .

- Cute place, walking distance from the centre - Breakfast was great! To be fair, it looked like any other breakfast with bread, musli, croissants, coffee. But add scrambled eggs, sausages and a big bowl of fruit salad, and that makes it worth it (for me at least) - 24h reception

Buffet breakfast was good. Sahnisa from the front desk was the best, so kind and helpful during my stay. She helped me a lot!

Breakfast was super nice. I liked my room, was tiny and comfortable. I was able to enter my room before the official check-in time and I really enjoyed it.

great location, very quite room and super clean, has everything I needed. breakfast was a very nice buffet. I give 10 as rating because I think the total rating it has on Booking.com is strangely low. it is very simple and basic but really I had better stay here than many hotels that have higher rate.
